At My House

We have had a great weekend here. The boy child went to a birthday party dressed as a pirate. He was pretty impressed with himself and particularly loved the parrot his sister made for him (that's the thing pinned to his vest!!!).

Checkin' out the patch!

All 3 kiddies had a sleepover at their cousins house whilst we took off to see Powderfinger. A very late night coupled by the consumption of a years worth of sugar meant for a lazy afternoon yesterday for the 2 younger ones. The big girl stayed on for a trip to the movies and more sugar.
This morning I battled with 2 very tired and emotional girls that were both in tears at school drop off. I'm hoping that when I pick them up this afternoon things have improved.........

This was obviously not taken this morning........ If only I looked that cute in my knickers and long socks!!!

To see what others have been up to pop on over to Buttons by Lou Lou.

Oh teary drop offs are just horrible! I bet they will be fine at school though. Very cute pirate, and a very cute little girl in her underwear! This is how our jimmy would happily head off to school if he didn't have the big organised brother on his back...

We were also loved up with Pirates on the weekend at our place.

She's a cutie alright!! I long for the days when having only your knickers on meant just that you only had your knickers on... not that you were 'naked', you know!? x

Did you enjoy Powderfinger. I loved the farewell concert here in Melbourne.

I bet Powderfinger were amazing! I hope you and your Mr had fun, a whole night kid-free, my idea of bliss at the moment!

Sounds like a lovely but busy weekend. You have a very cute pirate there and a very cute little girl. Some people think my children don't own trousers seeing they are so often without them! Hope the week calms down after the tiring weekend. Lou.
