Flea Market Finds

It hasn't been a week for great finds for me this week as I've been a bit sick so instead I thought I'd share a few of my favourite finds.
I just love a garage sale, antique shop and an Op Shop. I love that feeling you get when you spot a special something from a distance, your heart starts beating loudly and you take a quick look around in the hope no one else has seen it. Then the sprint begins..........what a feeling it is to have that special little something in your hot little hands.
The beautiful little girl so reminds me of growing up in the 70's. I'm sure we had many a print like this, she is so beautiful and I love that she now sits in my studio and watches over me. The malemine bowl with the brown lid, well its just cool. I love the colours and the pattern and although it has not yet found its place or purpose it doesn't matter to me. The metal sign came from a friends garage sale. He is a skydive instructor and well, who could resist? It is just too funny!

They're great Mandy! The little girl reminds me of a friend I had with a gorgeous patchwork print two piece number. The top was a halter neck & the skirt went all the way to the ground, she had two of them & when I stayed there once she let me wear one so we could be twins...as you do when you're a little girl!

That sign is so funny! I know it is serious, but look at that face! Great finds! :)

What a wonderful a sign. There should have had the blood and brains coming out of the fellas head...is that overstepping the mark and being too gruesome? The picture and cannister are great as well. Just my cup o tea. xx Nick

I'm still hearing angst about the middle kid's ALMOST buy. On Sunday his heart was pounding as he spotted FIVE emu eggs at a $1 each. He was just asking for his cash out of my pocket and some lady nabbed the lot. Sheesh!
