Boy crush

I am having quite the serious crush on the super talented and splendidly gorgeous Dan Sultan of late. I have just changed my FB profile pic to this one above........... be still my beating heart! and boy can that boy sing. Its all very pathetic for a woman of my age I realise but I do love to admire a good looking man, again and again and again.

Wine..... of the white variety. I am particularly fond of a Giesen Sauvignon Blanc and was delighted when the husband returned home from work the other night with half a doz of my faves! I'm hoping they will last a while longer than usual as I am trying to be alcohol free during the week. Not sure how long that will last!




Coffee, oh how I love you. I couldn't survive without a few caffeine hits a day and can't wait to buy another stove top espresso thingy. I can't find the perfect one so for now its the plunger.



Fruit fruit. Love it, especially when its super cold on warm day. Yummo.

My Creative Space

Kids artwork pops up everywhere in here, I love it.

Great cabinet found in my Mother in laws shed, shame about the mustard colour.

This is literally My Creative Space. The space that was once my girls bedroom until I booted them out across the hall to sleep hospital ward style with their little brother.
Over the last few days I've been having a bit of a clean up in this very purple studio space. Believe it or not these photos are taken towards the end of said clean up! By this stage I'd already thrown out so much crappola and found so many weird and wonderful things that had found their way in here. I've been organising things into boxes and containers and finding lots of unfinished projects which I have promised myself WILL get done before the next market!

*****An update on my "real" studio upstairs........ plaster is on the walls, half the lining board on the ceiling. Slowly, slowly it is taking shape.

At the last Tranquility Fair in Ocean Grove I found these divine bags and wallets imported from Mexico. Hecho en Mexico "We sell Sensacional bags, wallets, purses and cases. Each piece has been created by independent Mexican graphic designers. The original concept for these designs was developed from a street photographic project. Products are made from traditional Mexican oil cloth with vibrant and colourful designs."

What's in my bag?

What's in my bag??? I actually own a number of handbags and keep doing the swapsy thing which I wouldn't recommend. I always leave something very important in the "other" bag!

The contents!

I would like to say i was surprised by the amount of crap in my bag/s but in reality I know how messy I am. For your eyes the contents were tidied up substantially and the mountain of tissues, shopping lists and old receipts were put in the bin.

In it we have 3 variations of a wallet/purse. I can't find the perfect one so why not have 3 I say! A few pens, hair ties, cold sore cream, nasal spray, pain killers, keys, extra keys, bandaids, sunnies, old receipts, wrist cuff, brochures, a necklace, phone, a toy car, doilies from an oppy adventure that haven't made it to my studio and my fab Auntie Cookie bag.

I'd like to be one of those people that has a spot for everything and have it all organised. Sadly, I am of the variety that often has to up end the contents to find the ringing phone!

My children's love of bike riding and the girls appreciation of their new bikes, they are loving themselves.






Having a beautiful beach so close to home and those few "beach worthy" days that we've been able to get there.




The excitement when those teeny little teeth start to fall out. I cannot stop staring at Miss Blondie and worry that I'll forget how gorgeous she looks with her 2 front teeth gone.




Sleepy kiddies, is there anything better?

My Creative Space

Wow! It's been about a month since my last post. I have been busy with Christmas, New Year, a little sewing early in the month and lots of sanding and painting of weatherboards..... and of course the usual holiday activities (more on that later).



For My Creative Space I have a few new make up bags. I have loved making these and plan on adding more.
